Solutions / Handwritten site forms

Give handwritten site records a digital starting point.

Handwritten records still carry essential site information. Netriam supports photographs and scans containing handwriting, with editable readings and access to the original for comparison.

What this looks like in practice

A supervisor photographs a completed daily brief. The office can work from extracted text rather than retyping every entry, while checking names, dates and unclear handwriting against the image.

What to check

  • Photograph the form straight on and avoid glare or motion blur.
  • Check every name, number, date and safety-critical handwritten entry.
  • Correct uncertain readings; a signature image is evidence from the source, not a new sign-off.

Where human judgement matters

Handwriting varies substantially. Illegible or ambiguous entries need a person to resolve them, and extraction cannot recover information that is not visible. AI extraction is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.

Try it with your own paperwork.
